Charity depends upon IT

Charity foundations are taking advantage from the IT field for their proper operational activities. Shri Gajanan maharaj sansthan Trust situated in Shegaon, Maharastra which is the second largest pilgrimage destination in Western India. There is a number of institutions working under this trust which includes vocational training centers, educational institutes, schools for the mentally challenged, dispensaries and health camps. It is difficult to carries out the daily functions of the institutes properly. So a new solution has emerged under the supervision of Shrikant D.Patil. The trust accepted the SAP ERP 6.0 which helps to simplify the works and enhance operational efficiency. ERP is software introduced by SAP which used to integrate the internal and external resources in one system. The biggest challenge lies during the implementation of the project is in terms of change by the end user. After its implementation the trust plans to expand the idea to other business parts.
